In a standing room only crowd, the Hunterdon County Democratic Committee selected the State and County candidates representing Hunterdon County in the NJ Primary Election, that will be held June 6, 2017. The Convention was held in Flemington at the Moose Lodge on March 19th. Attendees listened and many stood, for almost 3 hours as endorsement speeches were made and as the Candidates themselves spoke about how they intended to move Democratic values forward in Hunterdon County.
Hunterdon County is the host to three Legislative Districts (LD); LD 15 which includes East Amwell, West Amwell and Lambertville; LD16 - which includes Delaware Township Flemington Borough, Raritan Township, Readington Township and Stockton Borough; and LD 23 which includes Alexandria, Bethlehem, Bloomsbury, Califon, Clinton, Clinton Township, Franklin, Frenchtown, Glen Gardner, Hampton, High Bridge, Holland, Kingwood, Lebanon Borough, Lebanon Township, Milford, Tewksbury and Union.
