The 2018 March for Science will take place April 14th in Trenton, NJ. The election of our new Governor, Phil Murphy, has led to the creation of the 1st ever Science Environmental Assembly Committee. New Jersey will lead as President Trump continues to deny sound science like climate change.
The intention of the march, hosted by Princeton Marching Forward, is to create an event that will allow supporters of science-based policy to make their voice heard, as well as educate participants about the science behind important issues facing America and the world. The march in Trenton is a satellite march of the March for Science being held in Washington, D.C. on the same day.
Attendees should gather at the Trenton War Memorial at 10:00am. The event kicks off with scheduled speakers followed by a short march in and around the Capitol Complex. From 11:00am - 1:00pm a Science Education Festival will take place with panel discussion, activities and demonstrations for all ages.
The Trenton War Memorial is located at 1 Memorial Dr, Trenton, NJ 08608. Parking is free.
