From all of us at the campaign, we wish you and your loved ones the best during this challenging time.  In 2018, thousands of us knocked on doors, canvassed street fairs and train stations, and organized backyard events to help the candidates and causes we believed in. We can’t do that today, as we sit at home trying to flatten the curve of a deadly epidemic. So we're hoping to enlist your volunteer power in another way – to help those of our neighbors who are suffering the most in this crisis. Here are three projects we're helping to organize that we'd love your help with. 1. Join Our Neighborhood Check-In Team This can be a lonely time for many of our neighbors, especially seniors, who are isolated at home with no one to speak with. That's why we're organizing volunteers to call and check in with 7th District seniors to see how they’re doing in this difficult period and share important resources. If you’d like to help, sign up below for our virtual training call: Join Our Neighborhood Check In Team! 2. Help Local Small Businesses Our local small businesses are fighting to stay afloat. We're encouraging restaurants and cafes in our communities to sign up for a website, rallyforrestaurants.com. Here, they can market gift cards for customers to purchase today, which will help sustain them until they can reopen.  We can promote this idea, but we also need more restaurants in our towns to sign up.
