The Hunterdon County race for Sheriff has drawn the attention of the state, including that of NJ Democratic State Committee Chairman John Currie. Candidate Dominick Puzio has run a robust race for Sheriff and his efforts certainly have not gone unnoticed.
Chairman Currie featured Puzio in his "Chairman's Update" newsletter in the Local & County Race Spotlight. Here's what the Chairman had to say about Puzio....
"Dominick Puzio is a career law enforcement officer who is running for Hunterdon County Sheriff to establish better partnerships with local police departments and make the county safer for local families.
This week Dominick won the endorsement of the Communication Workers of America (CWA) one of our state's largest and greatest labor unions supporting working families."
Puzio received the support of the CWA labor union which represents more than 70,000 members, including more than 40,000 state workers, 15,000 county and local governments and thousands of workers in the telecommunications and direct-care industries.
CWA Statement: “Dominick’s dedication, honor and integrity is without question, and we are proud to endorse Dominick for sheriff of Hunterdon County. Dominick’s commitment to the citizens and communities of New Jersey, along with his commitment to his fellow union brothers and sisters is an example of a true leader.”
