Hunterdon County Democrats have postponed their county committee elections for two years to put them back on their normal federal election year cycle.

That means county committee members elected in 2018 will retroactively serve four-year terms.  Hunterdon Democrats will return to two year terms in 2022.

“We realize how much work will fall on the shoulders of the employees in the clerks office during this difficult time and want to do our part to help,” Democratic county chair Arlene Quinones Perez said in an email to County Clerk Mary Melfi.
