If you are an Unaffiliated Voter and would like to vote in a primary election, you must declare your party affiliation.
You can declare your party affiliation prior to the election. Additionally, an unaffiliated voter can affiliate with the Democratic or Republican Party on the day of the primary and then may then vote on the voting machine.
Once you declare affiliation to a party, you remain affiliated, unless you make a specific request to become an unaffiliated voter again.
