Representative Malinowski to Host Earth Day Lunch & Learn
(Somerville, NJ) On Friday, April 23rd, Representative Malinowski will host a virtual conversation on green jobs and America’s clean energy future. Participants will have the opportunity to share their comments and ask relevant questions.
This April, President Biden introduced the American Jobs Plan to repair our nation’s outdated infrastructure and rebuild the economy by creating good-paying, clean energy jobs. The plan invests in climate-resilient infrastructure that will withstand the impacts of the climate crisis. As of 2019, 57,139 New Jersey residents worked in the clean energy sector. The American Jobs Plan invests in creating more good paying union jobs advancing clean energy production by extending and expanding tax credits for clean energy generation, carbon capture and sequestration and clean energy manufacturing.
