No, you do NOT need a reason to vote by mail, nor do you need to justify why you want it. Simply fill out the application and your ballot will be mailed to your home address prior to election day.
Remember, however, if you are set to receive your ballot by mail, you should not plan to go to the polls on election day.
If you forget to vote your Vote By Mail ballot or decide not to do it, you may go to the polls on Election Day and request a provisional ballot.
Ask for a provisional ballot, do not let anyone tell you that you are not allowed to vote.
